A little history

Step into the peaceful atmosphere of a charming 17th-century mountain farmhouse, with its vaulted tufa rooms and open fires in the hearth: the ambience is one of the warmest in the world.
The house was built around 1650, on the Transalpine pilgrims' route, in Monêtier-les-Bains, a spa town since Roman times, in a privileged setting in the heart of the old Haute-Alpes village, near the 15th-century church.
The former farmhouse, now a 4-star hotel, has become a legend in Serre-Chevalier. People have been coming and going here for decades, for the setting, the quality of the services, the gourmet restaurant and the pleasure of sharing a few moments with the hostess.
